Scratch Golf 2-man scamble league rules

                                                                                      

  • 10-minute warmup prior to starting the round 

  • If a shot does not register, swing again     

  • Each team member takes one shot; the team selects the best shot to play from — choose carefully, as simulators cannot go back on the selection                                                                 

  • All practice swings must be taken outside the hitting area to avoid misreads

  • Mulligans are not allowed

  • Incorrect mulligan use results in a two-stroke penalty

  • If a ball is hit out of bounds, accept "Drop/Rehit" — do not select "Pickup"

  • Tees can only be used on the tee box; do not tee up otherwise

  • Club selection before hitting is not required (software detects automatically); club selection is only needed when putting off the green

  • Putting on the green- Once you reach the green each player gets one putt, before your score is calculated with auto putt

  • Weekly points are awarded based on finish position against the rest of the league; lowest 18-hole score leads in points that week

  • Points accumulate weekly to populate standings; standings determine playoff bracket position

  • Standings will be posted and emailed weekly

  • Be on time every week — makeups are not allowed

  • Any holes not finished within the designated 2 hours tee time will be deemed a bogey

  • Substitutions are permitted during the regular season; a guest may join or one person can play two balls during the regular season

  • Substitutions however are not permitted during the playoffs; if one teammate is absent, one person plays one ball

  • All teams may drop their lowest score, calculating 3 out of 4 weeks toward total points

  • Every team makes the bonus playoff bracket

  • Playoffs are a 9-hole match play format

  • Sandbagging will NOT be tolerated

ALL TEAMS QUALIFY FOR BRACKET STYLE 9 HOLE MATCH PLAY PLAYOFFS.

PLAYOFFS MATCH PLAY MATCHES WILL BE HELD AT THE BRICK LOCATION.

Points Format

1st - 1,000 Points, 2nd - 900 Points,  3rd - 850 Points, 4th - 825 Points, 5th - 800 Points, 6th - 775 Points

7th - 750 Points, 8th - 725 Points, 9th - 700 Points, 10th - 675 Points, 11th - 650Points, 12th - 625 Points, 13th - 600 Points

14th - 575 Points, 15th - 550 Points, 16th - 525 Points, 17th - 500 Points, 18th - 475 Points, 19th - 450 Points, 20th - 425 Points

WEEK 4 AND WEEK 8 ARE "MAJOR" WEEKS AND POINTS ARE WORTH DOUBLE!
